International Beauty Pageants, Miss World 2007, Miss Earth - Miss Universe 2008
 If they are tired, they don't look it, though each of the contestants in the Miss Earth 2007 pageant have worked extremely hard to earn a spot as a finalist in the inter-national competition promoting environmental awareness and conservation.
The weather is in full cooperation with the sun shining intently against a brilliant blue sky.
Dressed immaculately, the 30 pageant hopefuls captivate the attention of dozens of eager photographers and media correspondents at the stunning Vinpearl Land resort in central Vietnam's Nha Trang Bay.
Set against a backdrop of intermingling flowers, water and mountains, the resort is a vivid paradise come to life with the addition of the striking women.
After an hour-long photo shoot, the contestants pay a visit to the resort’s souvenir shop exclaiming at the beautiful Vietnamese handicrafts including silk, lacquer ware, hand-bags and scarves, among others.
“So beautiful!” remarks Miss England's Clair Cooper, as she studies a hand-embroidered bag.
Miss South Africa, Bokang Montjane agrees, saying she'll buy some to bring home to her friends.

Brazil' s Patricia Silva Feneira won Best in Ao Dai while Vietnam' s Truong Chi Truc Diem won the Miss Fashion title at the 2007 Miss Earth contest yesterday night.
Korea's Ji-Eun Yoo took the Miss Charm category while Perưs Odilia Pamela García Pineda won the Miss Fitness title during an awards ceremony at the Vinpearl Land resort yesterday.
Organisers said they had also selected the contestant who has made the most remarkable contribution to her country's environment for the crown of Miss Beauty for a Cause, which will be awarded in the beauty pageanl's final round in Manila, the Philippines in ten days time.

 Miss Philippines is planting a tree. on hot sand, cleared up the beach and planted trees at the Vinpearl tourist site this morning, October 31. In the early morning, 30 girls toured around Vinpearl resort in tuk tuk. After that they changed clothes, took photos at the resort’s swimming pool and went shopping at some souvenir shops.
The Italian girl bought a Vietnamese non la (palm-leaf conical hat), said: “It is very lovely,
both cool and keeps one shaded from the sun.”
Chinese, British and French girls carefully looked at handmade bags.
After shopping, they changed clothes, took rubbish clips and bags to clean a section
of beach under blazing sunlight. They also carried plates with slogans: let’s walk, ride a bicycle, don’t discharge waste.

Nha Trang's Cam Ranh Airport was crowded with organisers, reporters, onlookers and police in the afternoon as the international beauty contestants hit the ground.
As the convoy left the airport, they were flanked by colorful signs welcoming visitors for the Miss Earth 2007 competition.
As Miss Peru Odilia Garcia left the airport she praised the hospitality of the Vietnamese.
While admitting that she was tired after a long journey, Odilia said that she was in high spirits for the upcoming competition.
After traveling the 30 km from Cam Ranh Airport to the contest venue at Vinpearl Land, Miss Australia Victoria Stewart expressed her awe of the beautiful landscape of the region.
Asked her feeling about the local environment, another beauty commented, “Like any other countries, Vietnam needs to care for its environment. With such a beautiful beach, there's lots of work to do to keep the city and beaches clean.”
