How Miss Teen USA 2007 is redefining the female image PDF Print E-mail

"The Miss Universe Organization, producers of the MISS UNIVERSE®, MISS USA® and MISS TEEN USA® competitions, is an international company that advances and supports today's women.

These women are savvy, goal-oriented and aware. The contestants who become part of the Miss Universe Organization display those characteristics in their everyday lives, both as individuals who participate in the competitions to advance their careers, personal and humanitarian goals, and as women who seek to improve the lives of others."

Fascinating. This information was pulled from the www.missteenusa.com Web site, where you can also watch videos and buy photographs of all of the Miss Teen USA contestants in bikinis.

And before you ask how exactly Miss Teen USA helps improve the image of these savvy goal-oriented women I am going to go ahead and tell you that they do so by parading them around like meat in tight swimsuits while flaunting their large breasts, tiny waists and tight behinds.
I, for one, am glad they have today's woman in mind.

When we think about building our dream house we think about greeneries, palm trees, beaches, spectacular landscape and nature. That is what I always thought about my dream house should be. A small island could be a perfect place to live too, that if I get a good favour in life because that is really where I want to live.

With white sandy beaches, palm trees and clear sea water but still it will take me quite a while to get into that kind of life but even though it’s too long to go, I never stopped working so hard to fulfil that kind of life that I always dream and I am committed to it.

I have also been searching for my ideal place to live and checking some real state blog trying to collect information if how the process works and of course the best deal is important.

Eleven beauties from Ghanaian communities across the world stormed the National Theatre last Friday to vie for the first ever Ghana’s Homecoming Queen crown.

The event brought together contestants of Ghanaian origin from the United Kingdom, Italy, Holland, Canada and Germany.

At the end of it all, it was Pearl Akosua Serwaa Boadu from Holland who stood tall among the ten other contestants to take the crown as Ghana Homecoming Queen 2007.

Gladys Owusu Amponsah and Josephine Akosua Nimo both from Germany were the first and second runners-up respectively.

The pageant was quite different from others in that there were no talent hunt and question & answer segments. Neither were there prizes announced or given.

CEO of Baskets & beyond, Nana Tannaa Takyi-Appiah told The Showbiz that the pageant was not so much about prizes but the need for the winner to be an ambassador to raise funds for orphans and other vulnerable children.

After an opening choreography, the contestants returned on stage to introduce themselves. Most of them started in the languages of the countries they represented while others began with Twi.

Their next appearance was in elegant evening wear by Ghanaian designers as they gave reasons for participating in the pageant. For most of them it was on the need to help orphans and the vulnerable in society.

This, one would say was apt as the theme for the pageant was “raising funds to support orphans and other vulnerable children.”
