Miss Michigan Teen USA, Elizabeth Hawthorne, is at the Charity Preview, and did not hesitate to tell us why most Americans cannot find the United States on a world map (take that, Miss South Carolina!).
Hawthorne says she's a fan of cars. "I don't know much about them, but I love to look at them," the Clarkston 17-year-old said.
She's there with her father, Steve, who said while her mother accompanies her to most events, he was happy to pull auto show duty.
Hawthorne competes for the Miss Teen USA title in September. /info.detnews.com
